Following on from the Basics and Audio guides, this guide will provide information on how to set up your camera.
Video Input configuration
By default, Teams will be set to use your devices in-built camera for video. If you have an external device such as a webcam, you can select this by going clicking Teams in the menu bar, then clicking Preferences > Devices.
From here, scroll down to the Camera section and select your external device from the drop-down menu. You will also see a camera preview here to verify your settings.
Custom Backgrounds and Blurring
If you wish to conceal your background, you can choose to either blur it or select a custom background. After clicking Join Meeting, you will be presented with a window to configure your audio/video settings before confirming to join.
You will then be presented with several options on the right-hand side of the window.
You can also change these settings mid-meeting by clicking More > Apply background effect, then selecting from the options on the right-hand side.
