Intune Company Portal - Download and Installation Guide
We are now beginning the process of enrolling all devices that connect to 365 cloud resources into a device management framework called Intune. Intune installs on your computer via an application called the Intune Company Portal. Intune allows us to do a number of things to help us better manage and secure your company data and resources.
Why are we doing this:
- Intune allows us to determine if devices are compliant and secure
- Secures access to extended features of 365, such as teams, onedrive & sharepoint
- Secures devices that are personally owned.
To complete the enrolment, please follow these steps:
Go to https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=853070 to begin downloading the application.
Once the download has finished, locate the ‘CompanyPortal-Installer.pkg’ file in your downloads folder.

Run the installer and follow the prompts to complete the installation process.

Go to Finder > Applications and open Company Portal, where you will be prompted to sign in. If your work email account appears in the list, select it, click continue and enter your password. If it doesn’t, click the ‘+’ button and enter your email address manually.
